Get fired up for the March 3rd election! Join the community benefit for Adam Bolaños Scow for Congress the week before absentee ballots arrive and just over a month to Election Day. The evening features vocalist Claudia Villela, the Eva Scow Quartet, and Adam. Claudia Villela is described by Jazz Times as a “Brazilian-born genius with a blistering voice.” Having performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival and other prestigious international festivals, her glorious five-octave instrument is one of the wonders of jazz, lithe and startlingly beautiful in every register. Prodigy Eva Scow is internationally recognized for her amazing talents on Mandolin. The precision, clarity and quickness of her fingerpicking work is a sight to behold, but it is the unique blend of sounds she seems to effortlessly and spontaneously create that always makes the biggest impression. Adam will also present his vision for solving the affordability and climate crises and how that impacts our region. Find out where he stands on other issues that affect us locally and nationally and how his solutions differ from incumbent, Jimmy Panetta.
