Each year, on the third Thursday in November, the people of France celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau Day (the first wine release of the new season) with festivals, fireworks, and track suits. As an essentially French enclave located in the wilds of downtown Santa Cruz, Bad Animal is partying too. On November 21st from 7 till late, enjoy disco dancing and sampling wines from the region. Party in the back, business as usual with the standard dinner menu up front. Free entry. $15 tasting fee. By the glass specials available.
