FREE IN-STORE EVENT: Bookshop is delighted to welcome Paul Yamazaki, principal buyer at City Lights Bookstore and winner of the National Book Foundation's Literarian Award, for a discussion of his memoir Reading the Room: A Bookseller's Tale. Yamazaki will be in conversation with Bookshop's head book buyer and friend, Melinda Powers, who says, "Reading the Room distills one thousand gin-soaked nights with Paul into a single energizing shot a book that captures all of the passion, curiosity, and brilliance that he has taken from his life experiences and brought to City Lights and to the craft of bookselling.
