José Luis Maldonado, better known as C-Kan, is a trailblazer in the Mexican rap scene, hailing from Guadalajara. Born in 1987, he achieved significant recognition with his hit song "Vuelve," which garnered over 100 million views on YouTube in 2017. Today, his YouTube channel boasts over 6.7 million subscribers and 2.5 billion views, making him a prominent figure in the genre.
C-Kan's music has been featured in various television series, such as 'Soto Copertura' on La RAI in Italy, 'Cartel Crew' on VH1, 'Veronica Mars' on Hulu, and 'Queen of the South' on NBC/Netflix. He has shared the stage with global icons like Rihanna, Coldplay, and Lil Wayne, and has collaborated with artists such as Baby Bash, Frankie J, and B-Real.
