On Friday September 25, CreativeMornings Santa Cruz is back at the MAH. This month's theme is CURRENT featuring Melissa Marzan, an illustrator and muralist also known as The Letter Mermaid. Everyone is welcome to join for free coffee and goodies, a short talk and live performance, plus curated opportunities to connect and collaborate with local creatives. About the Speaker:
Melissa Marzan, also known as The Letter Mermaid, is a hand lettering & illustration artist with a focus on murals. Inspired by the Central Coast beaches, her signature calming blue palette promotes self-worth, ocean conservation, & courage through vulnerability. She sees her work as a way to cultivate and celebrate community & share her experience as a Queer/Bisexual Filipino-American woman.
