Have you ever wanted to bring your dreams to life? Come create an acrylic painting, explore both classical & playful painting methods inspired by the mischtechnik, using light, color, contrast, and glazing to reveal your inner dream realm. RainbowMaker’s visionary teaching method is inspired by guided meditation, movement and sound healing. Incorporating shamanic methods of exploring symbolism and dream-like states while awake, artists will begin their paintings. Artists are invited to bring references or uncover their dreams organically through the guided painting process learning composition and landscape perspective with RainbowMaker.

This weekend painting workshop dives in on Friday and artists’ beginning paintings and concepts will be showcased during First Friday Art Night in downtown Santa Cruz at the Vision Sanctuary.

Saturday morning will include a Heart Opening Beach Yoga class by Viki with a featured DJ & Silent Disco to get the spirits up and inspire artists for painting that day! Saturday Night will have an optional Late Painting session with a plant medicine potluck/tea party.

After completing our paintings, we will have a final celebration on Sunday honoring one another’s artwork and close the circle with a guided Visionary Meditation.
