Details
Add a special accent piece to your space. Create your own pattern and choose from a variety of colors to create a piece that reflects your style.
In this workshop, we will:
- learn the macrame knot necessary to create this piece using cotton rope
- trim the fringes
- create an original pattern with the possibility of mixing 2 or more rope colors
The following supplies are included:
- cotton rope
- 8" diameter bamboo hoop
- comb
- scissors
You will go home with:
- your original geometric macrame wall hanging
About the artist: BEATRIZ FRAIA
Beatriz studied Architecture and Sustainable Design in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In Sao Paulo she found herself very focused in technical work and not pursuing her real passion of making things with her own hands. After she moved to Santa Cruz, in 2016, she revisited what actually drove her to study Architecture and Design: creativity, hands on activities, and the will of making something pretty that has the power to bring people happiness.
