Join us to design and create your own tote bag using fresh California wildflowers as a medium. Hammer the flowers directly into the material and preserve the beauty of the season to enjoy year round.

In this workshop, we will:

  • design a tote bag using fresh wildflowers and foliage
  • hammer their design into the bag
  • experiment hammering flowers into other materials like paper and anything they'd like to bring from home
  • heat set the design
  • bring home a finished tote bag

The following supplies are included:

  • flowers and foliage and tools to hammer with
  • cotton tote bag

You can bring:

  • students may bring small materials to experiment hammer on. Good items are handmade or watercolor paper and small pieces of cloth

You will go home with:

  • a uniquely designed wildflower tote bag
