Details
Food, medicine, music, and film bring people together.
Join Senderos in the closing of their City Arts Recovery Design community events with a screening of the film series of Historias de Cultura: Oaxaca en Santa Cruz. We are excited for a night celebrating the presence and power of cultural traditions in our collective healing.
Enjoy food from Chef Doña Lorenza of Cocina Yatzeche and performances by Centeotl Danza y Baile. Hear the stories of Oaxacan culture in our community through the sharing of food, medicine, and music. Learn from film director Megan Martinez Goltz, culture bearers Doña Lorenza, Maestra Fe Silva Robles, and Maestro Raul Diaz in a discussion and Q&A moderated by Senderos Trustee and film producer Helen Aldana.
Event will be MC'd by Senderos Trustee Lindsey Aquino Robles.
