This class is a basic introduction to the main principles of improvisation. Students will learn key principles like "Yes and," what CROW stands for (and why it will help your work) and the importance of commitment to character. The class will also cover basic physicality, scene structure and standard games. Class final is a performance at CSI: Comedy, Sketch, Improv show at DNA's Comedy Lab on 8/8/2019.
Course is taught over 4 weeks. 2 hr class.
Instructors are Davis Banta and Daniel Ruiz.
Limit 20 people.
