Brush lettering is everywhere these days - greeting cards, social media, home decor - yet few people know how to write beautifully by hand. In this 4 week class, you will get the chance to develop this versatile skill set with the guidance of letterer and designer Kendra Dosenbach. You will learn how to write with a variety of brush pens, building from basic strokes to letterforms to words, and witness how, with patience and practice, your hand's muscle memory improves and your unique lettering style emerges. A $10 materials fee is due the first day of class. Note: Good handwriting is not necessary to get good at modern brush lettering!

About the artist:
Kendra Dosenbach is the Founder and Owner of All Hands Workshops, which was born out of her desire to build her own and others' creative capacity. Ever the renaissance soul, Kendra has an insatiable appetite for designing and creating beautiful objects and environments. She approaches making as meditation and believes it is powerful medicine for personal and collective well-being. She has lived in many parts of the country and the world and is grateful to now be growing her family and her business in Santa Cruz, California.
