Celebrate Kuumbwa’s landmark anniversary with a concert by an international all-star ensemble. Each ticket includes admission to a post-show reception with the artists.
Hailing from America, Canada, Israel, Chile, and Japan, Artemis is an international all-star group featuring six of the top artists in contemporary jazz: pianist and musical director Renee Rosnes, trumpeter Ingrid Jensen, clarinetist Anat Cohen, tenor saxophonist Melissa Aldana, bassist Noriko Ueda, and drummer Allison Miller. Named after the Greek goddess of the hunt, forests, and moon, this is a significant, superb band that plays with passion, power, and sensitivity – bringing to the stage unforgettable performances of high-wire energy and pure joy. This special Kuumbwa Jazz anniversary celebration concert is one of just a few select dates Artemis will be performing this year.
