In a time when support for the arts is more vital than ever, Event Santa Cruz proudly launches Legends Live & Local—a new, one-of-a-kind series that brings legendary artists to town to mentor, collaborate with, and inspire Santa Cruz’s vibrant creative community.

This inaugural event features the iconic Jane Wiedlin—solo artist, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, founding member of The Go-Go’s, and fresh off headlining two weekends at Coachella.

What to Expect:
🎤 An intimate conversation with Jane Wiedlin on her journey through punk rock, the music industry, and life in Los Angeles in the 1980s.
🎶 A live performance with Wiedlin joined by a Santa Cruz ‘super group’ of local musicians she’s personally mentored earlier in the week (Band Announced June 20th)
🍸 Cocktail hour
🕺 End the night with a New Wave Rave—dance party inspired by 1980s club classics
