❤️Mount Saint Elias is a 6-piece indie-rock band based in Oakland, CA. Their expansive sound often surprises, blending analogue synths, distorted electric guitars, and lo-fi drum machines with the organic palette of acoustic guitar and raw, harmony-laden vocals. Fielding a singer/songwriter from Kentucky, players from the Bay Area and Latin America, and vocalists from across the gender spectrum, the band is a refreshing melange of folksy familiarity and ambitious avantgarde.
❤️ Dead Nettle is a band led by Lindsey Wall who recently recorded and released her first album, “How I Thought” under the new moniker. It’s an amalgamation of fierce folk, indie rock songs, with a nostalgic grungy edge. She explores ideas in an intuitive and metaphorical writing style. She performs older songs, as well as songs not yet recorded. Currently, she explores not only a full band indie-rock sound, but playing alongside Sienna Peck, an astounding violinist at more recent shows
