Ahoy Mateys. Swimming with Lesbians will occur on Saturday 12/16 AND on Sunday 12/17 at 5pm at The Blue Lagoon.
Come aboard the notorious cruise ship “The Celesbian” in Marga Gomez’s hilarious new solo play “Swimming With Lesbians.” Before Marga brings her new show to Off-Broadway in 2024 (La Mama Theatre) she will be performing an unplugged, stripped down, balls out 65 minute version on the mic at Blue Lagoon in Santa Cruz for two shows only. Join Marga’s boatload of twisted characters including Isabelle, a disgraced lacrosse player yearning for her first Lesbian affair, Captain Debbie who is always ready to go down in the ship, and the outwardly jovial but secretly meek bingo caller Pru Perez as they navigate navigate through lust, endless buffets, and rogue waves. This seafaring story was hailed as having “all the makings of a great voyage, starting with scrumptious characters” by the San Francisco Chronicle. Sexologist,artist and author Annie Sprinkle called it “Brilliant!” and claimed Marga’s show caused her “multiple laughgasms.”
