Rio de Janeiro-born singer/composer Claudia Villela will sing and teach songs from the Bossa Nova era. Employing stories and methods from masters such as João Gilberto, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and Vinicius de Moraes, Villela will share her own unique perspective on the music and improvisation. Participants will have a chance to learn songs while gaining insights into what makes and embodies the authentic Brazilian feel.
