Escape the ordinary and dive into a world of vibrant color and captivating forms. Oswald Restaurant proudly presents a solo exhibition by artist Michele Giulvezan-Tanner, transforming the dining space into a mesmerizing gallery.

For over three decades, Giulvezan-Tanner's artistic lens focused on the human form. But like the world itself, 2020 brought a pivotal shift. With the challenges of the pandemic, the artist faced a profound decision: relinquish the brush or embrace a new artistic path.

Fueled by her daughter's unwavering encouragement, Giulvezan-Tanner found a vibrant rebirth in abstraction. Her new collection showcases this captivating metamorphosis, where figurative elements dissolve into a symphony of colors and textures.

Stepping beyond recognizable forms, Giulvezan-Tanner delves into the realm of pure visual language. Her canvases become playgrounds of swirling lines, gestural marks, and evocative textures. These "things," as she calls them, dance in a three-dimensional ballet, inviting viewers to project their own stories and interpretations onto the canvas.

Like a Rorschach inkblot test, each piece becomes a mirror reflecting the viewer's unique history and emotions. There are no right answers, no definitive interpretations, only the echo of your own story whispered through the interplay of colors and forms.
