Humans are naturally wired to access our innate intelligence, insight, and imagination. And we do! ...some of the time. Many of us are bogged down with unmanaged stress and chronic burnout. Most of us could use a tune-up ---a daily reset--- to help us bring our best qualities online.

Inspired by insights from psychology, neurobiology and mindfulness research this yoga-informed practice combines evidence-based awareness techniques with simple and playful movement and breathing exercises to promote mind-body integration. With these practices we address stress and chronic burnout, reset the nervous system, germinate new, positive neural pathways and recover some of the old ones we used to enjoy. Our goal is to take a little bit of time each day to playfully and comfortably build familiarity with the state of integration we might refer to as a ‘general sense of wellbeing’.

This is a medium-hard class. We will build strength, and we will also rest. Let’s make each practice count, while maintaining a strong sense of humor and wonder. Students should have at least one year of prior yoga, dance, or other movement experience.
