Even though they might ask you to, you are under no obligation to adopt and care for any of the hilarious comedians who are performing in this stand up comedy benefit for the SPCA. The Santa Cruz SPCA saves and protects dogs and cats and then helps them to find caring homes. They receive no funds from city, county, state, or federal government. Only generosity keeps their shelter open. This comedy showcase helps them to do the vital work that they do, protecting animals and finding loving families to adopt them.
All of these comedians are regulars throughout the Bay Area comedy scene and are often regarded as some of the funniest and most talented people around.
