Join Santa Cruz Shakespeare's Head of Dramaturgy and Professor Emeritus of English Literature at UC Santa Cruz, Michael Warren, for a lively and enlightening talk about the plays presented for Santa Cruz Shakespeare’s 2022 Summer Festival. The 2022 Summer Festival runs July 10 - August 28 in The Audrey Stanley Grove, in DeLaveaga Park in Santa Cruz.
Warren will introduce attendees to Twelfth Night and The Tempest, which he regards as two of Shakespeare’s greatest achievements, as well as provide a refresher course for those familiar with the works. Warren will discuss the distinctive qualities of each play and their place in Shakespeare’s career.
An opportunity for questions will follow the presentation.
