Forget Milan, we have Santa Cruz, vintage and thrift central. 

What better way to celebrate our upcycle culture, than with our first annual Vintage Walk Fashion Show. 

Contestants for the Vintage Walk Fashion Show, will have participated in the Vintage Walk the same weekend, securing their second hand wardrobe from downtown retailers. Each strut, hop, walk on our catwalk and display their unique finds. Our judges will decide 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes.

How to be a model for the Vintage Walk Fashion Show

• Add your name to the interest form before April 12th at 2PM.
• Go Shopping during Vintage Walk weekend at our participating businesses.
• Bring your cute self, your runway outfit and your receipts to Abbott Square on Sunday April 12 at 3PM. 
• All participants must have at least 2 items in their outfits purchased that weekend. 
• Strut your stuff on our catwalk starting at 4PM. 
• Maybe win one of the prizes!

Prize Categories

• $50 and under challenge: can you put together a cute fit in under $50? Must have at least 2 clothing items purchased that weekend. Or one clothing item and one accessory.
• Decade Spotlight: put together your favorite decade ensemble. Is it 90's grunge, Y2K, 70's or 80's? Whatever you choose, we can't wait to see it. 
• Overall Fashion Diva: you look good and you want everyone to know. This is your free expression category. Show us what you got!
