With punk rock roots in Santa Cruz, Comedian Joe Sib is back to rock the inaugural headliner event at DNA's Comedy Lab online, just one year after his sold out performance, when he was the first to break in the new stage in the Experimental Theatre for the Lab's opening weekend at the end of March 2019.
Joe is a very successful, unique blend of musician and comedian who is sheltered-in-place with his family in SoCal at this time but did not hesitate to sign up for a groundbreaking event with the Lab's first virtual audience. Purchase a single ticket or one for your household here on Eventbrite.

About the Artist:
As the co-owner of Side One Dummy, the LA-based independent record label, Joe has worked with a number of highly successful music acts including Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello, and The Gaslight Anthem.
Before S1D, Joe was the vocalist in a number of punk rock bands before becoming the front man for WAX, the 90's Alternative band. WAX went on to work with Spike Jonze for the iconic "man on fire" video for the WAX song "California".
In 2003, Joe became part of the on air staff for the LA's notorious Indie 103.1. Along with the likes of Steve Jones and Henry Rollins, Joe gave a weekly show dedicated to all things punk rock called, "Complete Control."
From there, Joe wrote and performed his one man show, "California Calling," which received great reviews from The LA Times, which he then turned into a monthly residency at the Largo. It was there that Comedy Store director of programming, Emily Laford (at the time Emily was booking the Hollywood Improv), saw Joe's show and began booking him regularly. Since then, Joe has recorded his first stand up record, "Nowhere Near The Top," which debuted #3 on the Billboard Comedy chart.
More recently, Joe fused his rockstar backstory with his current comedy calling card and was featured as part of the two man opening act for Metallica with Jim Breuer.
