Yoso Wellness Streamlines for Growth and Celebrates 13 Years in Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz, CA — May 2025 — Yoso Wellness, a leader in longevity and inflammation-focused skin and body healing, announced today that it will bring all operations and services back under one roof at its flagship location in Downtown Santa Cruz. This milestone comes as Yoso celebrates its 13th anniversary and enters a new phase of intentional growth, with an expanded focus on holistic spa treatments and enhanced client care.

The secondary location, Yoso the Annex, will officially close its doors on Sunday, June 1, 2025. The Annex was opened during the pandemic as a heartfelt response to the community’s need for accessible wellness during a time when hands-on spa services were not possible. Created as a way to support the Santa Cruz community with wellness goods and rituals to take home, the Annex offered a vital bridge between connection and care in a time of isolation and uncertainty.

The closure of the Annex also comes at a time of significant conversation about the future of Downtown Santa Cruz — from ongoing development projects to concerns over retail vacancies. As Chair of the City of Santa Cruz Downtown Commission and a board member for both the Downtown Association and Think Local First, Jennalee Dahlen is deeply involved in the efforts to shape a vibrant and evolving downtown landscape.

“While it’s never easy to see businesses close, I believe change creates the opportunity for new energy and ideas to take root,” Dahlen said. “This is a transition, not a departure — and I’m proud to remain fully invested in the future of Downtown Santa Cruz.”

To honor this next chapter, Yoso Wellness will host an Open House + 13th Anniversary Celebration for clients, friends, and the Santa Cruz community on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10:00am-1:00pm at the flagship spa. The event will feature raffles, light refreshments, and exclusive gift bags.

Starting June 2, 2025, Yoso products and services will be offered exclusively at the flagship location at 740 Front St, Santa Cruz, CA. Guests can expect the same intentional, personalized care — with exciting new treatments and offerings launching later this year.
