The 63rd Cabrillo Festival opens with guest conductor Daniela Candillari's "inexhaustible verve" (NY Times) leading a luminous program. Shifting between vibrant orchestral colors, the concert features John Corigliano's kaleidoscopic and reality-bending works Phantasmagoria and Three Hallucinations. Nina Shekar's Lumina explores light and shadow, while Missy Mazzoli's Procession features violinist Jennifer Koh as a musical healer, guiding the orchestra through five interconnected healing rituals illuminating human resilience.

Join us before the concert for a pre-concert talk and picnic, starting at 6:30pm!
