Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre celebrates 20 years of performing their annual production of "The Nutcracker" at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. All performances with a live orchestra: Music Director Pamela Martin conducts 52 professional musicians to bring the beloved Tchaikovsky score to life.
A talented cast of local pre-professional company dancers is led by guest star, Houston Ballet principal dancer and SCBT alumna Melody Mennite as the Sugar Plum Fairy.
This festive favorite will delight young and old alike. Celebrate the season with this wondrous holiday tradition: The Nutcracker, onstage in beautiful downtown Santa Cruz.
