Celebrate the season with this wondrous holiday tradition that will delight an audience of all ages.
Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker onstage at the Civic Auditorium in beautiful downtown Santa Cruz with live orchestra! Music Director Pamela Martin conducts 52 professional musicians, bringing the beloved Tchaikovsky score to life.
Guest artists and alumni Melody Mennite (principal dancer with Houston Ballet) and Lucien Postlewaite (principal dancer with Pacific Northwest Ballet) as the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier light the stage with their artistry and brilliance. These world class artists join a talented cast of SCBT Company dancers, as well as dancers and performers from all over the county.
