"My passion for antiques and personal histories is life-long. With a close relationship to my grandparents, I was steeped in family photos, songs, and stories of their childhoods and working lives as farmers in the Midwest. At an early age, I valued the wisdom and gifts of my grandparents, which in turn led me into researching and documenting our family history, and ultimately into working with other families to preserve their memories and histories, while working through their life transitions.
Our new brick and mortar offers a sustainable retail option of consigned vintage, antiques, collectibles, art, and found objects for sale. Our consigned items were personal family objects that are being rehomed through Tumbleweed Found. While honoring their past, we hope to give them new life through our customers. The storefront offers such an important and meaningful connection to community—Santa Cruz, my home of over 30 years." - Dana Wherity
