“I came to Santa Cruz in 1987 and I was in the wine business. I had been working mostly internationally before and I realized I wanted to be part of this community. I wanted to make a place where people could come and enjoy wine the way I did. I wanted to give to other people, and provide a place for people to be part of the community together. Downtown Santa Cruz is the heart of the community, so this is the place to be.”
